Park Theatre will celebrate its third birthday on Monday 16 May, in traditional style, with a fun day of balloons and birthday cake.
Staff, friends and supporters of the theatre will all come together and each bake a whole range of delicious baked goodies, and they’d like to invite the local community to come and share it – in the café bar from 8.30am – 7.30pm, there will be a free slice of cake with every drink purchased (subject to availability).
Local residents Tamzin Outhwaite, and Juliet Stevenson – both friends and supporters of the theatre – will be joining at 10am to bring in their freshly baked cakes and raise a cup of coffee to the Finsbury Park venue.
Artistic Director Jez Bond said, “Three years on and we’re thrilled to be part of our thriving community in Finsbury Park. Our birthday is an exciting day to come together with our friends and supporters – and most importantly to show the entire community that our doors are always open, that they are always welcome whether seeing the shows or sitting in the cafe. I would urge everyone to use this day to spread the word to all those who haven’t yet visited the building. This is your neighbourhood theatre!”
