Page to Stage: Tues 29 Sept 2015

August 29, 2015 by Miranda Harrison Leave a Comment

Artists Anonymous are delighted to present Page to Stage. The next event is on Tuesday 29 Sept at The Horse & Stables, near Waterloo.

Page to Stage is a script development and networking event for London theatre-makers. Four new pieces of new writing are rehearsed by actors and directors, then performed to an industry panel and audience for feedback. If you are a writer, director, actor or a keen theatre-goer, then save the date!

Writers: A post goes out to invite theatre writers to submit a 10-minute script (or excerpt of a longer script).

Actors: Once the 4 pieces have been chosen a post goes out with a breakdown for each piece, inviting actors to submit their Spotlight link, showreel and a biog.
(If you have performed in Page to Stage before, please feel free to apply again! We cast on the submissions we receive per event.)

Directors: The breakdown is posted with an invitation for interested directors to apply. Each of the 4 pieces has its own director. The playing area is small, so staging needs to be skilfully simple. The actors are asked to be very familiar with the lines, but not to be off book (as the event is about the writer’s work).

Thanks for your interest in Page to Stage!
