New Theatre Directors Union

January 11, 2015 by Alexander Parsonage Leave a Comment

Hurrah! A new union for Directors – lets fight amongst our selves some more – yay!!! One thing though – I’m bored of blaming producers. Can we bicker with someone else please? I vote for front of house staff.. they’re the ones getting rich off my directing. Look at them with their ice creams and programs. And how do they keep the ice creams cold? with the icy heart of capitalist exploitation that’s how!

Whoever we blame one thing’s clear though – the whole industry is failing – so for christ’s sake lets keep blaming each other for our problems so we don’t have to face up to it.
